Below you’ll find everything you need to apply for Building Control services, including our current charges, online and downloadable application forms. Please ensure you use the correct form for your type of application and refer to the charges document before submitting.

Building control charges

There are three ways to make a building regulations application, please consider helping us by making your application using Idox forms:

Whether you are in Gloucester City or the Stroud District, you can submit your Building Control application online via Idox forms, using this method helps us to streamline the submission process as documents attached to the application will automatically populate our back office system.

You can submit your Building Control application online via www.submit-a-plan.com the National Portal for Building Control Applications. Please note that payment will be required before an application can be validated. Payment can be made online via the link below.

You can submit an application by email by downloading and completing the application form and emailing it to: building.control@stroud.gov.uk along with relevant plans and specifications (where applicable).
